Septmeber 2023 - present

Student Technician

Nottingham Trent University - Nottingham, UK

During my free time at university, I assisted my tutors with technician work, working in a small team to fix and maintain a range of 3D printers such as Creality 10S and V3, Bambu Lab X1, Markforge Carbonfibre and resin printers. I managed computer software, provided laser cutting support and taught 3D printing inductions to new students.

Lead Student Mentor

Nottingham Trent University - Nottingham, UK

My role as Lead Student Mentor helped me develop my teaching and leadership skills, as I led a group of 53 mentors with help from other lead mentors and university staff. I help develop community-building activities and events to help guide students through their first year and provide a supportive and welcoming environment.

Packaging Company Assistant

​Repackaging Services - Alderbury UK

As a company assistant, I worked on production lines to complete orders in an intense, fast-paced environment and assisted the Director in organising and creating new storage solutions for stock within the main site and offsite locations. Currently, I am helping the Director with a company rebrand, and working on designing website and marketing visuals.

Headlands Coffee Shop - Wellow, UK

During my time as Supervisor, I managed the opening, running, and closing of the coffee shop and a group of 3-6 staff per day. I worked to improve efficiency within the shop by arranging storage and electronic till systems. When low-staffed, I acted as a chef to create delicious, high-quality lunches to cater for a variety of dietary requirements while maintaining a hygienic workspace. I was also named in a 5-star review on TripAdvisor for my excellent service and attentive nature whilst working as a waitress during evening hours, when the coffee shop converted into a small pizza restaurant.

Design Intern

Lower Bridge Shepherd Huts - Wellow, UK

My role as a design intern was to assist the owner and his apprentice in creating bespoke shepherd huts for discerning clientele. My main roles included simple woodwork, painting and building furniture, and in turn, observing the design process from initial ideation to final instalment in the customer's home.

I am currently a second-year undergraduate at NTU with an average grade of a 1st, a Gold Starpack Students’ Award from the 2023 competition, and an award for Best Presentation from Alpkit 2023.

I graduated a visiting scholar's year in April 2022, with a GPA average of 3.8. This year was a General Studies year that I completed remotely from the UK, with key modules including Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Computer Sciences, and an Integrated Learning Course to integrate classwork with the local environment.
